VISION

  To safeguard the rights of female students, women employees and promote wellbeing. To provide a platform for listening to complaints and redressal of grievances. To equip the female students and faculty with knowledge of their legal rights. To catharsis them and feel comfort to express their complains and help them towards ventilation.

MISSION

  The cell is formed to resolve the women's grievances regarding gender discrimination and sexual harassment complaints of THE FEMALE students. For gender equality & gender justice in all its intervention & practices Woman Redressal Cell established under THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR WOMEN ACT, 1990.

ROLE OF THE COMMITTEE

1. To focus on the girls in the campus and make them feel free to come out with the issues that disturbs them both physically as well as mentally.
2. To enable the girls / staff to be Frank on any issues that torments them in the campus.
3. To educate girls on the importance of self-discipline & ways to protect them during adverse conditions.
4. To mould girls in briskly saying “NO” to harassment or any form of abuse.
5. To sort out the reason for the aggrievances & to provide guidance to the aggrieved women/girl.
6. The committee shall bring solution to any problem faced by girls inside the campus.

  Women Redressal Cell (WRC) is intended to preserve and endorses the comfort of all women students and employees.

  Women Protection Cell / Internal Compliance Committee/Anti Sexual Harassment Cell is constituted as WRC to deal with the complaints relating to Sexual harassment or other unwanted activities in their living area. The cell enhances understanding of issues related to women and to makes the college campus a safe place for them. Seminars and other Awareness programs are conducted to address all the present issues of society and their impact on girls. Also, the cell is responsible for looking into complaints related to women filed by students and staff about women’s grievances in the Institution. Any grievance found, is scrutinized and necessary action is taken immediately by the cell committee.

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF CELL

1. To protect the rights of women and any sorts of violence against them.
2. To effectively address sexual harassment complaints, assure confidentiality, and assure non-retaliation.
3. To educate all students and women employees of the institute about Sexual Harassment at their place, its effects, and laws against it.
4. To provide a platform for listening to complaints and redressal of grievance.
5. To equip the female students and faculty with knowledge of their legal rights.
6. To help in knowing the importance of good health and nutrition and facilities available for them.
